In the book of John 21:25 it says, “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”
This can also be said of my friend and roommate, Olan. The guy has the most charitable heart I’ve ever seen. The only income he makes is from his shirts and freelance work, and so, of course, he decided to give a sizable portion of his solitary income to ricebowls.org - an organization dedicated to providing food to hungry children.
If a movie is coming out, Olan will have already bought tickets for me and his girlfriend for IMAX, before I even knew it was coming out.
When I told him I was planning on going to visit my special lady, Melinda, he asked me, “How much is it going to cost?”
I responded, “It’s like $150. I think I can afford it in a month or so.”
Five seconds later, he drops $150 in cash on my desk and tells me to have fun.
His response when I speechlessly attempt to thank him has always been the same, “No problem, man.”
However, tonight he made the most charitable contribution I’ve seen from him. He invested in my future. He spent a very large chunk of his hard earned money on a piece of software that I’ve been eyeing for the last few months that will allow me to begin recording high-quality instrumentation. This is literally the oldest dream I have - to compose and release an orchestral album, and he just made it come true.
“Merry Christmas,” he said, along with, “No problem, man.”
I have no idea how to respond or what to say, but I just wanted to share this little piece of the goofy guy you all know, so that you can all see the size of his big goofy heart. Thankfully, he left, so now I can cry a little bit.
The only time I’ve been this blessed was when Shawna changed my life with a brand new DSLR camera.
No words can properly express my gratitude for my friends. No words.
Instead, I will vow to create the best work I can, and release some films and music that will do justice to their selflessness. That is all.
Posters are SOLD OUT! I really didn’t expect it to happen so fast annnnnnd I know a good bit of people are going to wake up tomorrow disappointed they didn’t get one. It’s INSANELY humbling to see people want to have a poster of a story I created. If you were to tell the 15 year old kid with his dad’s sony handycam that one day people are going to hang posters of your film in their rooms. I would probably bawl my eyes. I truly appreciate the support you have given me it’s beyond a blessing. You watching is always payment enough! Always will be.
So if you wake up tomorrow and you didn’t get a poster I would love nothing more then to drop another couple hundred bucks to put a smile upon said face! I’m going to order some more, I’ll sign them and put them up for free again. Might even have to get Justin Yanke to paint up some Last Scene & New Prime posters! That would be cool who knows well see! For the people who stayed up just to get a poster! YOUR AMAZING! Thank you! I didn’t make any money off these posters and who cares to see you guys excited about getting one! made me feel like a big ole pile of THE BEST DANG CHICKEN TENDERS! Thank You!

That’s it! Thanks for all support! :) Back to editing!

I told you guys I wanted to start trying new things with my apparel shop. This is one of experiments were trying. I always wanted to do a zip hoodie and of this kind since I’ve been wearing the test model for a good 2 months with the AC on
full blast while editing and discovered it was the most comfortable hoodie Ive ever worn. I love wearing simple basic hoodies, a design on this thing would of been too much since there is a zipper down the middle of it. So I thought doing the hood could give you the option to flaunt what you got or to pop the hood down and go all natural. Either way I’m pumped for these!!!! Going to release them with a Dorky Sweaters 2 I’m shooting this weekend :) O yea that is a Battle Mammoth.
Editing Video log now could be up tonight :)
Starscream, his little beloved cat who has made several appearances in his videos, is in the emergency pet hospital. All the details I know are from Olan’s Twitter. He’s been moved to another hospital, but he’s getting better slowly. Reblog this and get the word around to let people know about Starscream. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Olan, and your little Cheeser.
